"Venue was very comfortable, clean & warm, but the outstanding feature was the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. It’s a beautiful building, though showing some signs of age related heavy use, but this adds to the great character of the hotel. I will have no hesitation in returning. "

"The rooms were fantastic! Clean, comfy and modern. The beds were extremely comfortable and warm. We loved our in room tea/biscuit upon arrival. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. We definitely would stay here again. The one night we had supper in the restaurant was not great. Our soup was heavily salted and bread was cold and bit stale.
