The staff was wonderful and arranged taxis and transfers for us. Only thing we would have wanted is a bigger room - we had the suite with sofa bed. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay!"

The location was perfect to explore Rome by walking, and the AC and amenities (kitchen, coffee machine, biscuits and croissants) were a great bonus. "It’s very close the Roma S Pietro station and St Peter’s Square. Can easily take bus 62 and 64 to the city center. The room is clean and really appreciate the bottle waters and snacks provided daily!"

"Unfortunately, our experience at Mama’s Home Rome was very disappointing. Andrea was extremely unhelpful and even appeared to fake a back injury to avoid assisting us with our luggage up several flights of stairs. While the bathroom was modern and nicely renovated, the rest of the apartment felt somewhat dirty, uncomfortable, and not particularly well maintained. Overall, we would never stay here again and would strongly recommend choosing one of the many better accommodations available...

"The location is outstanding. Even though it's off of a very busy street, our room was so quiet. And conveniently, there is an absolutely amazing restaurant directly next to the hotel. The air conditioning worked great. The kitchen had everything we needed, including paper towels and dish soap. They are so responsive on whatsapp. Much appreciated! Would absolutely stay again!"

"We didn't know what to expect here and it was different than anything in the US (obviously). Very cool once we adjusted. Owners/staff was VERY helpful at check-in and at check-out. Room was very clean. We were able to stay cool the entire time, AC was wonderful. Cool old building right in the heart of Rome. Loved it, would recommend."
