"I've stayed at the hotel many times in the past before it became a Warner hotel. Although the facilities are still excellent I was a bit disappointed in the quality of the food in the Market Street restaurant (both evening meal and breakfast). Perhaps it was just that the previous standard as a business hotel was higher than current. We also could not get air-conditioning working in our room ((2021) this appeared to of been a problem for a number of the visitors."

"Lovely old world charm and the staff were brilliant, only issue was we arrived in the UK during a heat wave and the rooms don't have AC , it was a little warm, but I would go back again for sure"

"Please do not contemplate staying here over the summer months, we stayed over royal Ascot weekend and I cannot put into words how hot the rooms and the corridors were it felt really unsafe. They give you a desk fan in the room however this did absolutely nothing for the room temperature. I’m 7 and a half months pregnant and was looking forward to this stay, instead I felt faint and extremely hot over the 2 nights we were there. My husband and I had to ring"

"Staff were lovely, check in easy, key code for door was handy as we didn’t have to carry a key around and a great location. Unfortunately for us the room was not equipped to cope with the heat wave despite having a small fan in the room (heat couldn’t escape). Quite a few steps and distance to the room from reception as the way in and out - this may be an issue if you can’t carry your bags upstairs. Power points struggled to charge phones with our adaptors. Overall a good stay."

"The location is great, you walk out of the door and walk down the street and you’re at all the shops and Windsor Castle! The train station is also super close!"

"The best thing about the stay were how friendly & helpful the staff were. The best staff I have ever met in a hotel. Everyone was so accommodating from reception, waiting staff & cleaners. The hotel owner is very lucky to have staff like this & they are a credit to the hotel. Breakfast was really good also. One piece of feedback but not important, maybe consider investing in a coffee machine as I missed my cappuccino!"

"Nice location and property. But I specifically booked a room with air conditioning on Expedia. It was spelled out on the room type. I arrived in 35+ C temp and voila no AC - not poorly functioning. Nonexistent. Got no sleep. Windows could only open 3 inches due to installed stops. Staff blamed Expedia. It was extra pleasant lugging bags up narrow stairs in the heat also."

"The property was perfect. Location was perfect too, right in the centre of the town. The rooms where large and there was a fridge in the room. Lovely bathroom. Couldn't fault anything within the hotel. There was only one problem and that was with the parking, there is a car park at the hotel but it was 40 pounds for our 1 night stay which I thought was expensive. I have a disabled badge so it would of been so handy to of used the car park, but instead I had to find a car park as few minutes walk...
