"We had an ocean view suite which was very spacious, but 2nd floor doesn’t give much ocean views. Room was clean and cold, but requested housekeeping items via the QR code went unanswered. The QR code is expected to be used for all information & making dinner reservations at both properties. Each of us could only access a few of the restaurants but not all. More detailed check-in information would have made our stay better: how reservations work (24 hrs in advance only - 3 seatings a night & order your entire meal at once). Bar choices were extremely limited (2 beers on tap) no light beer. Bar service was slow, sometimes waiting 10-12 minutes while one bar tender worked very hard. The sister property - offered outdoor buffet near pool/beach and inside buffet served tables with drinks of choice or you could draw your own draft. Rif’s pools was huge, clean and had many many chairs & umbrellas; same at beach. I would book again, but it shouldn’t take 3 days to figure out all the nuances."

"This boutique was absolutely amazing! The staff was warm, accommodating, and welcoming! The rooms are immaculate and smell like heaven. The ocean views are absolutely stunning! The lemon bar staff was excellent, especially bar mate Johnny, whom was invited and provided excellent conversation. The Art Hotel was everything and more! Curaçao owns me nothing! Sad to leave."

"Pros: Property was clean & well maintained. Pool & beach areas had plenty of seats/umbrellas. In general staff were friendly & helpful. Provided complimentary bottle of bubbly for anniversary. Cons: Asked front desk at check in whether our view from our ocean front room was unobstructed, & she confirmed so. However, a big palm tree obstructed our view. We paid a lot of money for our first ocean front view.. we are extremely disappointed! Housekeeping was poor (e.g. overflowing trash cans, dirty floors, took used wash cloths & hand towels and didn't replace 2x, didn't restock toilet paper etc). Lack of activities on property. Food was over priced. No free bottled water in rooms or on property, had to pay about $6-$8 USD per bottle. Property location not within walking distance to other places of interests. Costly to take cab to/from other areas. Hertz staff was rude & spoke inappropriately to us. Staff closed our umbrellas at 5pm despite a couple of hours left of high sun. Denied our request for late check out though it appeared resort was not at full capacity. We would not book at Marriott Beach Resort again if we ever returned to Curacao."
