"Great hotel in a perfect location overlooking the river. I had a comfortable stay - the room and especially the bathroom were very small (I struggled to close the bathroom door without squeezing behind it) The breakfast was very nice and made to order with quality ingredients. Check in was good but the reception staff should inform guests that the key ring for the hotel room also acts as a fob for the hotel gates. "I booked this for my family during my wedding and wow is all i can say. The soace was stunning and Harriet and Giles just could not do enough for us. I was blown away by theirckindness and generosity. To the point at which they let us put my wedding cake in the fridge. Honestly the best hosts ive ever had. "As we arrived late we had to do the auto check in via the lodge keypad, they keypad didn’t quite work for us as expected but the staff on site soon came to our rescue. The property is lovely and is finished to a premium standard, unfortunately we didn’t have time to eat in the restaurant but the menu looked good, we would definitely stay here again if we were in the vicinity. "

"A great 1 night stay. From the first welcome, an excellent room, a good nights slerp and a great breakfast not sure what else to add. Be aware though that traffic noise in our room may annoy some people, luckily not us but ear plugs were provided if needed."
