"Although this was another excellent example of where a former grand home has been turned into a hotel, it works and I liked the location close to the Queensway and Bayswater underground stations with connections via the Central, Circle, and District lines throughout London. The hotel room felt old and in need of a nice rennovation and upgrade. It was disappointingly small and cramped. My wife and I were ill for much of the time we were there but the staff were nice and the decor historic."

"The room was clean and comfortable. The decor is looking a bit faded and the towels and gowns although fresh and clean were looking rather worn. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Well placed for the Albert Hall and the museums"
