"I have been to Ft Lauderdale may times and this stay at the Maren was the WORST I have had in Ft, Lauderdale. I paid 600 dollars a night for a room and stayed for 4 nights with my wife and daughter and it was a disaster. There was construction right next to the hotel - they are constructing a new hotel- and in front as well. We had trouble sleeping all 4 nights. The view I thought I was paying for was a beach view. The view we had was of a crane and construction and our beach access was blocked...

"We had an excellent stay and even held our wedding ceremony on the property- it was a beautiful location for photos! We dined at both on-site restaurants, and we were especially blown away by the food and service at MAASS. The caviar and chips were incredible, and we couldn’t get enough of the fresh tuna. Overall, both the service and food were outstanding, and we will definitely stay again."

"We had the best stay here! The host was incredible. Super responsive, helpful, and gave us amazing recommendations that made our trip even better. The place was very clean and well kept. As a group of girls, we especially loved the long hallway mirror (such a small detail but SO appreciated for getting ready 😂). Everything about our stay was seamless, and the location was perfect. It honestly couldn’t have gone smoother. Highly recommend!"

"The renovated rooms were great. Comfy bed, clean, and quiet. Fiby at the front desk was very nice and helpful. It’s walking distance to the beach and lots of restaurants. Would definitely stay again. Good value for the price."

"Parking wasn’t the best and check in was a nightmare but, the staff was very hospitable and did everything to appease us during the lengthy wait. Wish I had more time to explore and enjoy the amenities. I did run into an issue where I was charged twice but after calling and providing receipts, the issue was resolved. I plan to stay again and explore more"

"Overall the photos online present a much newer, cleaner environment. The place was old and a little run down. The woman at the front desk was very nice, taking our bags early and checking us in as soon as a room opened (1pm instead of 4) and had a coffee maker delivered to my room since we were leaving before they would have coffee ready for guests. But it was kind of a dump, glad I was only there for a night."
