"A very funky guest house. My room was upgraded at no extra charge. Very nice room. If your a Liverpool they awesome Liverpool FC basement, with two pool tables and loads memorabilia there. Only 2 and half miles from city centre with buses very close by. I'd highly recommend this guest house."

"Communication with the host was great. They met us at the apartment, gave us a run down on the place and some visiting recommendations. Apartment was located in a great spot within walking distance to great shopping, restaurants and beautiful sights. We did not find the apartment very well cleaned. It had black hair around the base of the toilet seat and in the shower. Floors were also not clean and needed a good vacuum. The upstairs ceiling is very low and an adult is unable to stand...

"Hatten ein bißchen Pech mit dem Zimmer: mussten 2x umziehen. Erstes Zimmer war sehr klein (gebucht war „superior“), Der Kühlschrank war ausgebaut, das Telefon kaputt. Im zweiten Zimmer war die Klimaanlage kaputt, das 3. dann OK. Generell müsste da mal etwas renoviert werden. Betten aber super, Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück war gut!"

"Lovely property with clean rooms and general areas. Great decor with lots of original wood flooring and ironwork etc. nice atmosphere in the bar in the evening. Enjoyed our meal in 1931 restaurant. Really handy for the Liverpool Philharmonic across the road. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel and the venue."

"Everything was great"

"Location is good, close to shopping, pubs and food. Walking distance to the Cavern pub/club/restaurant. beware of homeless tent perched on the sidewalk next to hotel entrance. This hotel also services long term stays and our original assigned room smelled of tobacco smoke from previous tenant…front desk was able to relocate us to a better room. Thank you!"

"We were very impressed with the overall hotel, the staff and the architecture. The food was really good for lunch and dinner. For lunch, we sat at the bar and was served by Kaitlyn, who was very polite, helpful and professional. All your staff was very polite and helpful, but Kaitlyn was particularly good at it. Next time we’re in Liverpool will be sure to stay at this hotel, without fail!"
