The main entrance door was hanging off when we arrived, and it was still the same throughout our stay, which doesn't create the best first impression. Aside from that, our room was lovely, and the breakfast was excellent – definitely one of the hotel's biggest strengths. The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. We would happily stay here again."

"Having paid for a reservation several months ago for two nights 24-26th June when I checked in I was told there was no room available. The receptionist claimed there was an IT issue but the hotel was very busy so clearly other people had been checked in. The apology was absolutely minimal, no compensation and no effort made to inform me in the days leading up to the reservation there was an issue. I found the whole experience highly unacceptable for a global corporation to behave letting me down...

It was an excellent choice for that, although there is some road construction going on directly around it which made rolling one’s bag a little more difficult than it would normally be. "unfortunately, this hotel was a very let down for the price. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which was never mentioned on the Expedia listing. The corridors were dusty and strong paint fumes, which brought on my astnma. If I had known about the building works, I wouldn't have booked. ​The room quality was also disappointing. Our bath towel had noticeable fake tan/makeup stains on it, and the room layout was poorly thought out, there was no plug socket near the kettle that actually...

"Hotel situated close to rail station and with good access to public transport around the city. City centre and harbourside both within easy walking distance. Hotel was clean and bed was comfortable. Air conditioning welcome addition on hot summer stay. Reception staff always pleasant and helpful. Complimentary breakfast had good range of cereals, pastries, and cooked items.
