"Great location with amazing views. Extremely clean. Property is beautiful overall and has many great amenities. Loved the fireplace in the room. Gave it a 4 because the decor feels a bit dated. Hot tub was too hot (but the pool was perfect.) And the breakfast buffet wasn't available even though it was listed on the website."

"Basic motel room, parking out front. TV either didn't work or I couldn't figure it out. Hot water subject to use by other guests, heat worked well. Bed was very good, rest full night's sleep."

"We loved our stay at this hotel. It is in a perfect location for winter and sunmer adventures, and not far from Lake Placid shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the comfortable room and sauna after a long day on the mountain, and the stocked kitchen made it easy and efficient to fuel up in the mornings. We will definitely return here again when we plan our next Adirondack adventure!"

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Cambria Hotel. The hotel is set on a peaceful hill, away from the traffic on Main Street. You also have a view of Lake Placid, just outside the hotel. You'll find a McDonald's, a Walgreen's, and a Hannaford's Grocery Store a short a short walk from the hotel. Lake Placid's Main Street and Mirror Lake are also very close by. Make sure you visit the Olympic Museum and the John Brown Farm while you're there. The only suggestions I would give the management would be...

"Room was musty smelling. Floor needed to be swept. Room needed dusting. Shower curtain had mold on the bottom. Shower walls had soap scum. There was a used bar of soap left on the sink. No wifi the entire stay. No phone in room. Lumpy mattresses. Unopened can of Spaghettios under the bed. No boot caddy in the room for wet/muddy shoes, nor any throw rugs. No extra pillows or blankets. Not enough parking (snow banks should have been removed). No mini fridge. "

"The staff was friendly and helpful for the check in process. I was able to check in early and the staff was very approachable. The parking garage was spacious and easy to get to. "My daughter that we were visiting near there has a severe allergy to strong scents, and we were thrilled to find the room and the reception area scent free! Only smell we could smell was new wood, which doesnt bother her. The staff said they use environmentally conscious cleaning products. Also having windows to open in case there were scents was helpful. Staff were wonderful, breakfast was pretty good unless you have allergies, though they did have almond milk. "I booked the Spruce Room, which has extremely dated pictures online. There have been years of use when you actually view the place. The kitchen has stains and marked up tiles, bathroom is barely clean with black mold in the back of toilet. All 4 of our beds had dirty linens and since there is no on-site manager, they had us raid the emergency shed and hopefully retrieve extra sheets. These sheets were all unusable. They reeked of mildew. Our family had nowhere to sleep that night, so we had to...
