"Fantastic lively pub, well located in rural Somerset.
Excellent food, with great choices of Evening Meal.
Continental breakfast was superb.
All staff were wonderful, cheerful and hard working, with a special mention for Hannah."
"The staff at the hotel went above and beyond, the service was impeccable. The hotel itself was beautiful, inside and out, and the food was wonderful. We really couldn’t have asked for more. Definitely going back soon!"
"Lovely stay. Room way lovely we felt so looked after. The lady was very welcoming and took really good care of us. She went the extra mile and dealt with my dietary requirements. She made sure I had gluten free and vegetarian sausages. "
"C'était un vendredi et le pub servait alors il y avait un peu de bruit avec la fenêtre ouverte. Mais cela ne nous a pas vraiment gêné. On est allé boire un coup également.
L'hôtel n'est pas moderne, mais très confortable. Les chambres sont vraiment très bien. Pour se garer, il y a un parking payant en journée très proche et très pratique pour charger et décharger les affaires.
Le personnel est très dynamique, sympathique,le petit déjeuner très copieux.
Nous avons apprécié notre nuit !

"Hidden away only a couple of miles from the lovely market town of Sturminster Newton, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Justin is a lovely host and we were incredibly well looked after. Super full English breakfast and Good amenities in the room. Highly recommended."
