"The room was nice and clean came with free espresso coffee. The scenery was beautiful and the outdoor area connected to the room was beautiful. The amenities were nice and there were many. Along with having a free golf course and then a larger one that cost money. It is all worth it. Carmel itself is gorgeous and it’s about a 5 minute drive into the cute little shopping areas there. "Rooms smaller than expected. Staff unwelcoming unless they are trying to sell you on a time share at check in. No room service for food. Took housekeeping 45min to give us a towel on one day, and on another day took almost 45mins to give us waters & vanity kits that should have been replenished during our room clean but wasn’t. Wouldn’t return."
