"My husband and I drove the coast of California from Paso Robles to stay here in Monterey. After a long day of driving, we were thrilled to enter the building and hear they have upgraded us to partial ocean view. We sat on the balcony and enjoyed a relaxing view before dinner. It is centrally located near lot of activities, cafés, beaches, and more! I would like to also give a special shout out to Stacy at the front desk, who was so kind and greeted us and gave us food recommendations and things...

"Exedia had a deal on this one so I snapped it up. I was not disappointed. We were upgraded on arrival to a beautiful room with private deck outside. It was a suite - with a living room and fireplace and a beautiful bedroom. We had our wine and cheese on the deck - gorgeous with trees. I actually fell asleep on the couch out there. It was so nice. "Cute little stay! Very old building so please go in with that expectation! Some things like chipped paint/old doors, but certainly not dirty, normal for a vintage stay. Complimentary fruit parfait in the morning was great as well the champagne and cookies in the evening. Was a little expensive for what it was, but I see it definitely fluctuates per weekend, so if you find a good deal would definitely recommend!"

"Great hotel minutes from Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey. The room was spacious and clean, staff were friendly and helpful, and we were able to make good use of the 24hr tea/coffee facilities and the heated pool. There is also a microwave in the communal area. Parking was plentiful (both at ground level and underground). I would recommend this hotel and would stay again on a return visit to Monterey."

"The front desk staff was extremely friendly and made us feel welcomed. This encourages us to visit again. Our room and all facilities including the hot tub were clean and comfortable. Parking near our room was easy. The surrounding residential neighborhood was quiet and appeared to be safe. The beach is a 5-minutes walk from the lodge.
