"We had our teenagers with us and 2 rooms. Housekeeping barged in on us, knocking and opening our room at 8:30 am after being out late at a concert, checkout is at noon and they woke us up! Bathroom was very dirty, dark hair everywhere and toilet was gross. Bathroom exhaust fan doesn’t work. We should have inspected better upon arrival but were pressed for time getting to our concert and only dropped out stuff off and went right to the venue. "We had a wonderful stay at Wayside Inn. Our host, Joe, was very helpful and was a great chef! Our breakfasts were very good and got us ready for the day ahead. Parking was not a problem and the surrounding yard was shady and pleasant. The giant oak in the front is reported to be 200 or more years old. Our room and bath were well maintained. We would definitely stay there again. The Inn also has a great history dating back to the late 18th Century. It is said that George Washington stayed there...

We brought food in and asked for spoons and forks, they only had spoons… I wanted to do some laundry, they had no detergent… Manager was uncaring when we were checking out. So glad I know I’ll never stay at this dump again. Two stars only because bed was comfortable and breakfast was decent."
