"One of the cutest and cosiest hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. Beautiful interior, big spacious rooms, facilities great. Staff were approachable and welcoming. Only two downsides-the breakfast lacked flavour and hotel was a bit pricey."

"I loved the location over the “white horses,” which refer to the wave crests in the ocean bay below the property. The setting is beautiful in the middle of a quiet village 10 minutes from Brighton & Hove. It sits over the white cliffs and an expanse of beach. Great opportunity to stay at a wonderful property! Nice breakfast at the restaurant, too! "

"A well presented country Inn in secluded location. Excellent large room ( Oak) a very relaxing stay."

"Room was clean and tidy. Bed was very comfortable Sash cord was broken on window and one of the lights in the bathroom needed a replacement bulb. Tv=V reception was appalling I suggested that there was a notice warning occupants that the tap into the basin should be turned on slowly to avoid a torrent of water hitting clothes"

"My friend and I were looking for a base to explore the historic towns, houses and gardens of this area, and struck lucky with this hotel. We were impressed by the pleasantly relaxed atmosphere, the quality of the food, the variety of dining and bar areas and the comfortable, well-maintained and quiet rooms (no audible traffic noise). Staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended. "

"It was absolutely excellent. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Check out and check in was super easy. We got our own entrance and exit which was a nice addition. I would absolutely stay here again "

"We booked to stay as it was near to Wadhurst Castle where we were attending a wedding. The room was The Yew and Eye. Spotlessly clean and a lovely area out the front to sit and enjoy a drink. Very quirky but charming. The welcome at reception and talk through in the room was excellent. The young lady even took a few moments out of her very busy day to give us a brief history of the pub. The bar was busy but well staffed. Breakfast was ample , fresh and most welcome"

"Tom, Rhianna, well the entire staff made me feel like I was a part of the family. The room was extremely comfortable, the food was great(definitely some of the best food I’ve had whilst in England) and never took long. If I could pack up the entire hotel and staff and take it wherever I travel I would. That’s how good my stay was. If I’m ever in that area of England I will be staying there! "

"Lovely little hotel, superior room was bigger than we expected looking over the front of the hotel. Fairly clean, only minor point, as the hotel was full there were no spare pillows,I sometimes, I struggle with my breathing hence the extra pillow at night. Will stay again."
