"The location of this hotel is great. The staff is friendly and helpful. That being said, the first room we stayed in was pretty good except there was a sliding door for the bathroom - be careful not to slam your hand ten times - it’s heavy. No bathroom fan. Both the beds squeaked. The website says “great beds” - not true in this room. We were on the avenue side and that is VERY LOUD. The fitness room at 7:30 am was a mess! The cup holder on the treadmill had hair and junk in it. It hadn’t been washed in a while…days? There were weights all over the floor and no towels. Not one towel. All of the disinfectant wipes were gone. I called housekeeping and a man came in and proceeded to fold the towels at the counter while I was working out, by myself. Briefly. I thought he would leave. He didn’t. So I left. It was uncomfortable to say the least. There was one person at the desk that was unprofessional, but the other staff was well trained. They moved us to an inner room. That was better. Quieter. There was a proper bathroom. Still no fan. A brick wall for a view. I’ve stayed in better places."

"Loveeeee this place it’s smells like santal when you walk in & it’s in a perfect location if you’re taking the train. The rooms are stocked with snacks and drinks on them ! Staff was so nice and very helpful. I will be staying there again"

"The building is located in a comparatively quiet neighborhood with an abundance of local shops, cafes and restaurants. Staff was polite and efficient. The lobby and the room were clean. All the fixtures and appliances worked, there was sufficient hot water and the bed was comfortable. The cost was reasonable."

"Staff was great. The Bell Hop was extremely personable and charming. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Check-in was at 4pm which seems a bit late. I ended up getting there at 2 and ended up paying $50 to get into the room early after just finishing a 7 hour drive. Had I known they were going to be testing the fire alarm systems from 2:30~4PM I would've held off until the normal check in time. The room was clean and a good size. The faucets for the sink and shower were "fancy" and operated counterintuitively, pushing them in to turn them on. You could tell that a lot of folks struggled with them in the past as they were well worn and loose. Overall it was a good stay. Staff were great and greeted as I came and went. The extra $50 to get in early seemed very nickel and diming. When you add that and the additional cost to park at their partnered lot the fair pricing wasn't quite as good."

"I travelled with my 8 year old son to NYC for 4 nights. The hotel is located close to many attractions. The rooms are decent sizes with kitchen options."
