"This location is within 8 minute walk to the Colosseum. There are also a lot of food options on the street this place is located and souvenir shops for people who want to pick something up. All major locations are within a 30 minute walk and the Vatican is within a 45 minute walk from here. It was all flat and wasn’t any trouble getting around from this location. "The staff at this hotel was very nice. We were arriving after 7pm and they left us a key in an envelope as the front desk closed earlier. The room was great - the bed and pillows very comfortable. Overall well worth it. Very short walk the Colosseum. Lots of public transportation. Close to the LGBT spots in Rome. Also check out the Voodoo Bar near by - great lounge/club for all. "

"this was an excellent place to stay. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff were very attentive, and the breakfast was good. I particularly liked Jose the bartender, and we enjoyed a drink in the hand of cards practically every night in a very comfortable lounge with Jose making the drinks. We also really enjoyed the tours at the hotel sponsors. Mario, our tour guide, was excellent. "

"Honestly it was one of the most amazing hotels I have ever stayed in in Europe. Relais Santa Maria was in the perfect location in Monti, surrounded by small Italian restraunts. It was a 10 minute walk to colosseum and overall just a 10/10. They had a daily cleaning and 24/7 reception. I would definitely stay in this hotel again if I’m back in Rome ! "

"Nazionale 51 was fantastic! The location is unbeatable—walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colosseum, Pantheon, Trastevere, plus plenty of shopping and dining. Our room was very comfortable with wonderfully cool, quiet AC, a huge bathroom, and a convenient mini fridge. Customer service was super sweet and made our stay even better. Highly recommend!"
