"We stayed here for a visit to Wimbledon. It is much further away than the write ups indicated. It’s a straight up hill 20 minute walk to the Village part of town and then from the village it’s another 15 or so minute walk to the courts. We did it once then used uber. I knew I wouldn’t be spending much time in the room so it met my needs. No frills. Comfortable bed. Clean. No lounge or spots to hang in a lobby, very utilitarian in its layout. "Very good value and was in the perfect location for our reason for visiting Mitcham, onsite free parking is a real positive. Upon arrival it wasn't clear where we had to go to check in and a staff member not on shift didn't seem to know, but it turned out you check in inside by the kitchen service hatch....photo ID was needed and scanned by a polite staff member. The restaurant looked spotless, very clean, bright and airy...the kitchen however, on show through the glass window by hotel check...

"The owner and staff member were very helpful the actual decor of the property is well beyond it's best before date the whole property is very tired. Our room shower drain was blocked upon arrival which meant we couldn't shower for 24 hours not good in 30 degree heat."

"Property was in a convenient location to Wallington; directly on a bus route and near a small green area for walks with pets. It had a quiet energy about it; meaning the property was quiet considering its location on the crossroads of two main roads and the bar and beer garden being lively but not overly boisterous. Food was tasty; breakfast particularly was plentiful. Parking was adequate."

"Property surprised us in a good way. Spacious, clean, good working wash machine, and air con worked very well for us. I would say it was quiet, but the alarm went off (early)twice while there that we knew of. Could have been more while we were out. Went off because of people cooking. They need some sort of signs in the kitchen area specifically, would cut down of the false alarms. People need to be told what not to do. Instructions for the washer would have been nice. Would stay here...
