"Starting with what is great...location, parking, and breakfast! Just a few things to know...if you are traveling with older kids, the family suite with the two twin beds is not really ideal for kids older than maybe 11. The two twins are put together to make a king against a wall (so one kid has to climb over another for any middle of the night needs). The room is cute and would be great for young kids. "Overall a very cute place to stay. King suite room was like a mini apartment. Lots of room and a full kitchen. Parking was extremely tight. If you have a large vehicle or truck be ready for that. They could use some black out curtains on their windows. To much sunlight coming in. And the kitchen AC unit did not blow out cold air. It was a 20-25 minute drive to downtown LA. So it served its purpose for us. Would stay there again if we were in a pinch for a room close to LA."

"wasn't what the app said; they didn't have a pool or breakfast. When I booked through the Expedia app, it supposedly included all of that, but when I arrived at the property, it turned out the app hadn't been updated to reflect the actual amenities."

"We had to shut the bathroom door because there was a light outside the bathroom window shining Right in on the bed and it was so bright that we had to shut the bathroom door to keep that light from coming in on us. There is only one washcloth and one hand towel."

"The hotel is perfect walking distance to Universal Studios. The hotel was fine, but we were disappointed in some small features of the room: 1. bathrooms do not have fans 2. The windows in the room do not open at all for fresh air. 3. The in room coffee is not good Also, the hotel is undergoing a major remodel, which was not disclosed when we made the reservation."
