Mainly as the international airport for Tokyo. While I did not have the chance to visit, it does appear to boast a couple of beautiful temples and shrines
Not impressed by narita e express or Jetstar airline.. The train was late causing us to miss our flight no apology from JR Line or compensation.. Terrible customer service
Well worth taking the train from Narita airport 2 stops to Narita town. Lovely old shopping street, Edo buildings, restaurants and an amazing temple complex and gardens. Ask the hotel for a map guide to Narita.
I was strictly in transit. This hotel is excellent for early flight from Narita Airport.
Go to the temple complex in Narita town, it's much better than the one everyone visits in Tokyo!
