"Beautiful hotel, great staff, little bar area, and french toast restaurant for breakfast was great. Area however is disgusting. I would never stay in the French Quarter again. We were they a few years ago and the area has so deteriorated since then. Lots and lots of homeless living on the streets, sleeping, getting high and defacating. Also spent 1/2 of the morning listening to trash trucks outside our window. Do not stay in this area!"

"Hotel Mazarin is a NOLA gem inside of the French Quarter. It was resonably priced, even for the Jazz Fest 2nd weekend. The location is perfect for walking to everywhere; one street off of Bourbon and only a few blocks from Jackson Square or Canal Street. There are so many shopping venues, bars and restauarants all within walking distance. The hotel has a lovely inside courtyard where you can relax, meet with friends or pop in to the wine bar for a quick drink. Even though this is an older...

"Our room was really bad! It was at the end of hall and the architecture was like dormitory!! I was really surprised when we got in to the room! They didnt even come for room service even once in 3nights!! The elevator was not working for a day! It was terrible experience at all!!"

"The hotel was in a perfect location and within walking distance of everything in the French Quarter. The hotel was clean and the staff were amazing and friendly. The only complaint is there is absolutely no water pressure in the rooms. I understand wanting to preserve water, but you waste more because it takes 4x as long to take a shower with zero water pressure."
