The actual hotel and hotel property is nice, the area around Long Island City can be a bit sketchy. Overall our stay was 10/10, the location is super close to Manhattan and other very popular areas. Would recommend to others.

My stay in general was very pleasant. The only issue I come across was the cleaning - standards were poor. I think they just made the bed, change the towels, wipe the sink and emptied the bin. The room was dusty and floors needed vacuuming. On the second night the rooms was not made, so I had to regularly remind reception staff to alert for housekeeping to attend. The facilities were nice otherwise, staff was polite and friednly.

The place is nice and clean, and it's conveniently located near the subway, making it easy to travel to and from Manhattan in a relatively short time. However, the surrounding area, especially at night, felt a little unsafe.
