"Upon arrival the staff were very friendly. Greeted and explained everything including how if I take my card over to the restaurant I will get a discount on food, I have been many times before but never been told this. The card didn't work at first and the lady at reception worked quickly and efficiently to solve the issue and gave me a working card. "This is a lovely hotel. Great situation opposite the castle, so at the top of the hill! Continental breakfast of pastries, fruit, yogurt, cold meats, cheese toast. Plenty to choose from. We had a standard room which was spacious and nicely decorated. Large shower room. The plug sockets had been upgraded to include USB and phone charger sockets so you don’t need a plug. "Check in was quick and easy, lady on reception was friendly and professional. Rooms were spacious and clean (apart from an old sock being found in corner of one of the two rooms). Loved the large, comfy bath towels. Beds very comfy. Will stay again. "
