"This is our 2nd stay in one of the wagons at Buffalo Valley Ranch. Our kids loved our stay so much last time that it was their only request for our most recent trip. It is a unique experience for sure. The bathrooms are what you would expect being on a horse ranch. The lodge bathrooms are open 24hours, so I would recommend using those. All of the negative comments are likely from people with unrealistic expectations. If you want somewhere unique to stay with your family, away from the hustle &...

"It was so peaceful and relaxing. Incredibly clean. Just across the road from the Arena, so one night we walked over and watched the calf roping. Fun! Definitely will stay again."

"We loved this ranch. The breakfast was great. The room and beds are very comfortable. But it is a real ranch with horses and cattle in semi-desert location, so it is rustic, and it gets dusty. We liked the rustic, historic design of the buildings, but dust was a problem for me due to my allergies to dust and mold. Besides this one problem of my own, this ranch was wonderful, horses are well taken care for, and they offer variety of horseback rides. I definitely recommend this ranch!"

"I love the set up with a bar and ranch. What i did not like was i want told that the bar was closed over a month before my stay and that the restaurant had a limited menu. It was overall an amazing place but when booking i would've liked to know what I'm actually getting. If i knew everything was closed and limited i would've just stayed in town. "

"We have never been to a "dude ranch, spa" vacation. We had so much fun my 21 year old daughter was already asking if we can visit again! We did horseback riding every day. Probably would have gone twice a day! Visited the spa, did watercolors, guided hike at night, did pool time, there was so much to do we didn't get it all done. Our room was spacious and very clean. We had a coffee maker in the room as well as a mini fridge. One of the best vacations we have had in a while! "

"This is a really special place, primarily due to the staff (who likely include the owners). They were very welcoming and accommodating. The cabins are quaint and get the job done, in a somewhat rustic way. We enjoyed their communal dinner twice and it was fantastic, and breakfast was great, too. I would definitely stay there again!"
