"We loved Hotel Place d’Armes! Very very good location in old Montreal right across the street from Notre Dame Basilica. The beds were comfortable and the shower gell/shampoo were extra nice! The rooftop bar is a plus, but make a reservation. This hotel is close to lots of bars and restaurants. Also a short walk to the closest metro stop."

Assuming it was the Canadian app. It turns out when I got to the hotel the charges were converted from American to Canadian. Cost me an extra 200.00 . The hotel room had a noisy air conditioner and the hair dryer did not work. I had to argue with the front desk staff to get a back up hair dryer. Even staff were not very helpful when inquiring about confirming late check out that had been requested days before, did not even bother to check computer, just dismissed us by telling us to call in the morning.
