"My wife and I had an excellent 2-night stay in unit 3 while visiting San Clemente for our nephew's HS graduation. The unit was perfect for us. Clean, spacious and well appointed. The view and sounds of the surf breaking on the beach was loved. The one and only nuisance was the beach campfire smoke that would blow in with the onshore breeze each night from around 7 to 10:30pm. Since we have some breathing sensitivities, we ended closing up the unit and spent our time off-site during that...

"This is a hidden gem very well located to beach and old town San Clemente. It was very clean nicely appointed and the staff was very nice and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was surprisingly good and had anything you could think of. A great value. We will be back."

"We love this hotel. It has everything one needs; kitchen, restaurant on site, pool, grounds for activities. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. We don’t have everyone’s name that helped us but Abraham did come and fix our table. Very polite and friendly. All staff including restaurant service excellent."

"I contacted the property to let them know the reservation was not placed/ I didnt make it. Crickets. Come to find out, there is no reception/lobby/ anyone on the property and is non refundable. Expedia forwarded and email and havent heard since. Expedia is also 0/10. No help at all!"

"I really wanted to love this place. It is just steps away from my favorite beach. Between buckling flooring and holes in the cabinets it’s just felt run down. The beds and rooms were clean but it needs some work. Parking was also an issue if you have anything other than a small car you will not fit in the parking garage which is a block away. Again I wanted to love it but we were disappointed."

"This was in a nice location. The parking was easy and the room had a nice layout. The breakfast was just okay, and the building seemed older (closet door was coming off the track and the window treatments were falling down), but otherwise, the staff was lovely and we enjoyed our stay."

"It was 2.9 stars on Expedia. It was a lea than one star. There was black mildew in the shower stall and it was not clean. The room was not cleaned or serviced the entire time. The flooring was a vinyl plank and the butt joints were separated, the planks were bubbled and didn't lie flat. The staff was non responsive and the office was not attended. You had to ring a bell and even then the attendant never came out. The worst part it the fee was not refundable. Parking was ok"

"This place looks nice on the outside, unfortunately the inside of the rooms needs some work. Our bathroom tub was old and had some mold or black residue and had a smell.The containers of shampoo and conditioner and body wash are nice but ours the conditioner was empty and not a lot of product come out ."

"Adorable place in Dana Point. The decor is extremely well done in an old Spanish mission theme. The staff is very friendly. It was perfect for a quick, affordable escape near the beach. One disappointment was that the walls were super thin and we could hear everything from the next room. Another thing to note for people unfamiliar with the area is that Pacific Coast Highway is in between the hotel and the beach. Overall, we enjoyed our stay."
