"The room was clean and the motel was on a quiet forested setting, but convenient to amenities and shopping. However, the bed linens were completely wrinkled as if they were slept in then used again. I think they were clean but just poorly stored after drying. The wifi didn’t work. The tv control didn’t work and the telephone didn’t work so we couldn’t call the front desk. All in all, the room was very overpriced for a 2 star property."

"I absolutely loved the room i had. Actually asked the front desk gentleman what i did to deserve it. lol The breakfast was great and the gentleman that checked me in was amazing, smiled great with me when i couldn't get the tv to work. My whole experience was awesome and would recommend the hotel to anyone. Am actually booked and staying at the same hotel in Barrie that i stayed at a couple of weeks ago. Going the end of May. Truly like your hotels, they have become my comfort. Thank you Shelagh"

"I liked everything except the room on the ground floor smelled like old smoke and moldy. The person on staff didn't do a lot of explaining about the billing. I had to go out my room for explanation."

"second time stay here. The location is more scenic compared to the main strip with all the casino and hotels. The property overall is showing sign of age but in overall good shape. We just cared that The staff is helpful."

"We had a room looking onto the Rideau River, so it was nice and quiet, even though we were very close to the airport. Staff was friendly and professional. The room was a bit smallish and the shower was rather claustrophobic, but overall it was a very pleasant stay."

"The room was lovely, carpet on both floors (1st & 2nd) looked and smelled brand new. Hotel was very close to and accessible from Hwy. 11. Everything was clean in the room, hallways, lobby & breakfast room. The staff were exceptional - great service finding the lost Teddy Bear before I even knew it was missing! They reached out by text message and saved the day even before I had left town. You have no idea how much that meant. Well done guys!!!"

"Our Room was conveniently on the ground level. It was clean and comfortable. There wasn't a lot of choices to park with a cargo trailer. It was downtown Thunder Bay and a lot of shady people were hanging out front"
