My room was on the 4th floor and had a terrific view of the pier where the cruise ships came in, but was just far enough away so as not to be inundated with ship passengers. Location is a little away from downtown which we found to be more quiet. Felt safe walking around even at night. There are several great food options within a few blocks. "We visited Blue Angel for a week. The dive shop is located on property. You walk to the end of the dock to catch the boat each morning. Shore diving is included The restaurant is excellent. Friendly staff who make it a point to learn your names & welcome you each time you visit. We ate the majority of our meals at the resort because of the excellent food and laid-back atmosphere. We truly felt like VIPs! (Special shout out to Diego, Armando, & Jared) We enjoyed a made to order breakfast...

"Very nice find! Nice staff, great rooms, clean and well organized with view on the central area. Not sure if the inner courtyard was under renos but there was a number of construction tools and material that could have been cleaned up. Would go again!"
