"Lovely location, parking at the hotel is limited. We stayed for four nights, Breakfast was a disappointment, on three occasions the eggs were over cooked, fresh fruit was a slice of Mellon, no bread/ roles. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was located a the rear of the hotel looking over a covered area for pub and hotel guests use. with the windows open the noise from this area was disturbing. But overall we enjoyed our stay."

"Such a wonderful property, and the rooms are so very clean and comfortable. We slept so well, and were treated quite nicely. Kate is such a lovely host, and her brekkie is top-notch. We enjoyed chatting with her as we ate, and found her delightful and helpful. The farm setting is so peaceful (for us guest that is, a lot of hard work for owners), and the location is great for visiting the Lizard and other places around south Cornwall. Thank you much for such a great stay!"

"We had a lovely spacious room with a comfortable bed, a bonus was the beautiful views of the river through the wide full height windows. Only downside was the lack of a cooked breakfast which is not available. There isn’t a table in the room so we had to sit on the single chair and blanket box to eat the cereals provided, not ideal when you want to fortify yourself for the SWCP walk. They also didn’t service the room which meant we had to wash the cereal bowls and cups in the bathroom sink...

"Loved the gardens and direct access to private beach. Dog friendly terrace garden rooms were of a standard rating in.my opinion. No soap replenished in dispensers for 2 days. Stain on bedding sheet. Dog pee stains visible in some public carpeted areas. Unmanned reception, need to ring a bell. The 'bridge dog friendly area' for meals is depressing and isolated, no bell in this area to indicate you need a service i.e. breakast. No background music. Lacking atmosphere. Tables are coffee tables,...

"Just returned from a 7 night stay at Savoy view apartment The accommodation was excellent, everything needed for the stay was provided and the rooms were tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. We arrived early after a 6 hour drive and expected we’d have to wait around a few hours until check in but we were surprised to notice that the key had been made available a lot earlier which was lovely. The property is in an ideal location for exploring the beaches and coves on the Lizard peninsula....

"Ugh, what a disaster! So, I booked this place for two nights, right? Get there, and the main door to the key lockbox is jammed shut. Called the host like fifteen times, and nada—no answer. Had to scramble to find another place 'cause my girlfriend's pregnant, and we couldn't just hang around. To top it off, they wouldn't give me a refund! Had to fight it through my bank. Seriously, avoid this place like the plague. No one answers, and it feels like a total scam. "

"3rd time staying here - love the house and position is great to explore the lizard. Damp was really bad this year - walls were wet and mouldy in places and kitchen cupboards very musty - cleaners were great coming out and cleaning up some of the mould. Probably damp build up if it had been shut up for a while. But we always enjoy our stay - beds comfy and loads of room for our family and little dog "

"The property was very well maintained and equipped. Beautifully decorated and lovely enclosed outdoor area for our dog to play. The only downside was that the water flow was pretty inconsistent and it was very hot weather so a bigger fan would’ve been great as it gets very hot. Other than that, it was a lovely stay."

"Harvey Lodge is a hiden gem in a woodlands next to a river beautiful setting peace full beats any Premier Inn owners are friendly and helpful and they care about their guests bed is very comfy you just don't to get out of it in a morning if you care about a digital detox and peace of mind this is a place it's very near Helston town and close to Porthleven and other seaside places just beautiful felt like I was at home and not a holiday or working away from home "
