"The room was huge, and the king-size bed was incredibly comfortable. those were the only positives of our stay. The property is outdated and desperately needs renovation. The walls were scratched, the baseboards were deteriorating, and there was a terrible smell throughout the hallways. Cleanliness was a serious concern. The property appeared poorly maintained and inadequately cleaned. There was visible evidence suggesting a mice infestation, particularly in the entrance hallway near the...

"Good stay here, more in Brixton than Tulse Hill where our daughter lives. Room adequate and very close to Brockwell Park which was great for a swim! Kettle in room for teas and coffees. We thought we may get breakfast as classed as a b&b but this is not supplied."

"Really, this was a surprisingly pleasant experience. Well located, helpful staff, good breakfast, nice big rooms, comfy beds. Good value for money. Would def. stay there again."

"Muy buenas instalaciones, personal atento, excelente ubicación."

"The hotel service and appearance was great. The staff was definitely helpful throughout my stay, especially Nitesh. I recommend this hotel"

"Needs an overhaul, ripped shades and scuffed paint, but clean and depending on what you need very good location"

"It was okay, but having stayed at the Art otel the night before it was not as good. (As some reviews suggest). Spa is tired and Sauna not working. Wouldn't bother staying again."

"The main issue with the property was that the basement room smelled SO strongly of mildew and the stairs to get down there felt so steep and unsafe that one couple in our group ended up booking a hotel to accommodate themselves. This was truly more like a converted crawl space than a bedroom. In addition, the sofa bed in the living room was very uncomfortable, even for a sofa bed. The host did not have any location recommendations as she shared she has not lived in the area for 10 years, and...

"On the good side, we were able to do an early check-in and the pub's staff was very kind. The pub is well-located, at about 20 minutes by bus from Westminster and very close to Waterloo station, in a nice and calm area. However, we had a room very different from what was advertized - but also quite different from the reviews, so perhaps we were unlucky with our room. The room was windowless, despite the establishment claiming all rooms had windows. It seemed like it's been empty for a long...

"Very clean. Easy check in. Ground floor room so lots of traffic noise in the morning."

"Hotel was in a good location, bit dated but nice sized rooms.teas coffees and biscuits in room. Bed and pillows were very comfy. Just few bits need updating but gif the price it was great"

"Wasn’t aware I was booked in even though I’d had a confirmation email. Rather than get angry I slept on a sofa with bedding provided."

"Good location and helpful staff . They allowed me to check in early and moved me from the assigned room when we found some dysfunctioning things. Overall, it was good. Just bear in mind there is no microwave nor refrigerator and also no shampoo or anything like that which unfortunately I can’t count on and every hotel, I stay at. But overall, I would recommend it as a cost-efficient place to stay"

"Good location, good bus services, great breakfast, lots of shops nearby, I would go back to this hotel"
