"Close proximity to the train station which was essential for our onward travel to Stansted . The staff were friendly , the rooms, although slightly dated , were spotless & the bed comfortable. The location was really pretty being on the River Stort . We made use of the onsite cafe / bar. then took an evening stroll along the river bank . It would have suited us to have breakfast in the cafe but it was closed the following morning for a deep clean , which just shows cleanliness of the place...

"Lovely area - Harlow Park. The property has a beautiful well- kept garden. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere in the house was homely. Food and drink available to buy and prepare on site in the well- eqipped kitchen. Books and board games galore. "

"Booked in advance so good value. Plenty of free parking; registration plate is required with check-in. The man on reception was efficient and friendly. Hallway to room was clean and smelt fresh. Room had desk, two chairs, storage/hanging space, TV, was clean, neat and tidy with comfortable beds. A kettle with coffee tea facilities were provided. Shower was all good but the loose toilet roll holder was annoying. It’s in services so some food/drink facilities available. Less than 10 minute drive...
