"Our stay at the Melia was incredible. We were celebrating our recent engagement and we were treated like a King and Queen. The resort, pool and spaces are kept so immaculate. We had so much fun. The staff here are just incredible! From the start Alfonso at guest check in was very welcoming and kind. Ulises, Guitron, and Jesus at the pool and lobby bars were very fun, remembered us throughout our stay, and made the best drinks. Ruben and Brienna at Fish House were so attentive. The food was so incredible. Highly reccomend the Surf and Turf Skewer and Tuna Tamani Tosdada. We were lucky enough to go twice. Karen at the A La Carte breakfast and Alfredo at Mole and Tacos were so attentive. The food was so good. Mariella and Mari at the spa were incredible at the spa. We had both of them twice for each service ( we went to the spa twice)The spa is located in the middle of the resort but you wouldnt know it it was so peacful and quiet. Although we dont have kids ourselves, there was never a shortage of activities for kids or young families. Overall we would highly reccomend the Melia. "

"We had an incredible time at the Westin Resort and Spa in Puerto Vallarta and look forward to returning when it transitions to an all-inclusive. From the moment Ricardo greeted us upon arrival to the moment our housekeeper Margarita wished us a good trip home, every single staff member we encountered was fantastic. Without a doubt, this is the best treatment I've received at any hotel or resort I've visited in over 50 years of travelling. As a bonus, it was nice to stay at the resort where one of my favorite Apple TV shows was filmed: Acapulco!"

"Staff were amazing. Food is ok. Mexican fiesta was great. Only concern were the multiple raccoons jumping up on buffet table and grabbing food in the Italian restaurant. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Beautiful beach. Nice location. "

"Food was great. Worth booking club level at this resort. Daily breakfast was fresh and lots of choices. Azur and Mond were great for club level! Andres, Carlos, & Pedro for pool service were excellent. Jorge for daily activities was also great. Evening shows are lacking. The Earth Day fire dancing was great. The Mexican Fiesta night would have been great if the Marache band was outside. It was way too loud. Beach was clean and lots of beach chairs to use. Overall, 10 days was too long to just be at the resort. As there are no water sports etc. We stayed at resort and didn't do excursions as it was after the Cartel issues. We wanted to give it more time. The resort is small so great for families and any one older for getting around. Would be nice if they still had the teen club for 12+. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet, smaller, affordable resort. "
