"What a total find. Saw this Hotel mentioned as one of 10 best places to stay on Tenerife. Absolutely lived up to that. Would say best place to stay. Staff were incredibly helpful, and went out of their way to be so. The rooms are lovely. It's really quiet. Lots of places to sit outside, on the terrace, or around the inside courtyard. Breakfast was lovely, but dinner - wow. "
"The views from our room were fabulous. You can see the cliffs and the sea for miles on end. La Gomera island is also visible from the terrace. The pool was very nice too. I'd recommend this place. It was very close to a 4 star hotel. "

Good sized room, sink, fridge, and balcony was just perfect.
Also the property has clearly been renovated as everything appeared new and the common WC/ shower rooms are very modern with a very hot power shower.
Raphael and Carlos keep the property spotlessly clean and do a great job.
I highly recommend Pension Alcala, but its best to try and book a room with a balcony
