"Lovely quirky hotel. Free parking and in easy reach of public transport with only a short tram journey to the centre of Sheffield. Rooms clean and welcoming. Beds comfy and a modern clean and large on suite. Breakfast was perfect with help yourself cereal toast and a full menu of various cooked options to choose from cooked fresh with table service. Only downside breakfast room was far too hot. Would definitely return."

"Pros: parking and good central location. Well priced. Cons: tired and dated rooms. Too warm despite turning the thermostat right down. Helped by opening window but loud road noise so not ideal. No bottled water in the room. Got phoned by reception at 7.15 am to come to our room to access the safe and retrieve the passports of previous guests! Not the wake up call I wanted on what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend. Staff member was lovely and very apologetic and offered us free breakfast....

"Great hotel, love it, love it, love it! Great facilities i.e. pool, sauna, rooms, bar, gym, toilets. Price competitive to others in the area. Quiet, clean, lovely beds and carpets, great views and central to restaurants. Only thing to improve is to have breakast a bit ealier, otherwise, great hotel, super recommended and will stay again for sure."

"Easy but uphill bike ride to Peak District"

"AVOID! On arrival we got our keys from the keylock which was a simple process. When entering the apartment it completely stunk of cigs and w - as if people had been in there for days smoking. Even aside from the foul smell the place is very run down, lots of marks and stains on the walls etc. The glass hob surface had a large chip/crack on it which you could easily cut yourself of. A number is given to contact and says it's staffed until 8pm. We arrived about 8:30 but messaged basically...

"A no fluff modern hotel perfect for a couple of nights in the city, the rooms are on the smaller side but for a single traveller would be more than enough."
