"Beautiful renovated modern property right on a lovely beach. Room was great. Great restaurant. Only complaint is they list as Expedia VIP but they didn’t honor it when I arrived. They argued about it and tried to charge $800 per night more for the upgrade which is free to VIP members. Even the manager did not understand it. They shouldn’t be on the program if they do not honor it. I would return."

"We had a great time at hotel very convenient when you traveling with pets . Overall hotel were very clean one thing is the hotel doesn’t have direct access to beach you will need to drive to go to state beach or walk 2 miles for it"

"The hotel was very clean and relaxing. Staff was wonderful and the Inn being pet friendly was a nice perk. I’ll be sad to see it gone soon but the renderings of the new hotel that will take its place looks amazing!"

"No frills. Bare necessities and amenities. Ceiling floors pop and squeak. Entry door did not close properly. Low guality furniture, linens and accessory items. Cold vinyl flooring. Appears to be remodeling slowly and poorly. Elevator dirty. slow with out of date inspection notice with temporary permit date purposefully"

"My stay was short and simple. I saw a concert down the street, then used the room to sleep for 7 hours. The hotel did its job. The pictures make this place appear better-looking than in person. If you care about appearance of the property, this isn’t a 5/5."

"The room was clean. Note that if you reserve through a third party they will give you the least desirable room. I requested an early check in at 2pm. When I checked in they had just finished cleaning the room so the whole room smelled like bleach. I opened all the windows but that did not help. I was able to switch rooms. So I had my 2 dogs with me but I had to step out for a few minutes for the hotel breakfast. The manager called me and was so rude. I'm like did he forget that the hotel allowed dogs and that dogs actually bark? He asked if I was off the property without explaining what the call was about. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable. It was the strangest way to start off a phone call. So he continued to say people complained that my dogs were barking for an hour which was not true at all. He could've explained it without being rude and not assume that my dogs were left alone for an hour. He really seemed like he did not like his job. Even before the call. He lacked customer service skills. No smile or anything and standoffish or unapproachable. I was surprised to find out he was actually the manager. The gentleman at the front desk helped me switch rooms and also phoned me to let me know that the room was ready. He was very friendly and accommodating. Honestly the manager seemed to not be very people friendly at all."

"You can see the ocean, but not the beach, however amazing sunsets. Steps to the beach. We had an amazing 2 bedroom with very large balcony. Area has tons of great restaurants within walking distance, and great shops. Good area to stay. Place is a little dated and our stone shower basin was kinda crumbling and small rocks would collect at the drain. And our towel bar would fall off occassionaly. Very quiet at night and even during the day despite being off South Coast Hwy. there are also spots with live music nearby. Best of all you can go have a coffee and sit on a bench at the steps of the beach in the morning - very peaceful and amazing view of the Pacific Ocean. I’d definitely stay again, just hope they’d make some upgrades. Oh and parking is including for guests. "
