"We had seen not very good reviews about the hotel but were pleasantly surprised. We had 5 rooms booked family and standard, all clean. Hotel is very nice, easy to get to, good gym sauna pool facilities. Hotel is a bit worn but clean and like any other hotel. Breakfast was good. We stayed as there was a wedding function at the Hotel so can be noisy at night, but wasn't too bad. Hotel staff were very nice and helpfull. "The room was clean and spacious. Has the usual complimentary hot drinks, hairdryer and also an iron and ironingboard. A choice of scrambled eggs, beans, bacon along witk a good range for a continental breakfast, served early from 6am both Saturday and Sunday, useful as I had to be a the event from 7.30am. Helpful, pleasant staff. Enjoyed my stay. Also this hotel was walking distance (5 mins) from the Telford indoor shopping centre where there was a large range of shops and places to eat."

"We had booked fir three nights, at a cost of over £250.00. We also booked a meal which was disappointing and with drinks cost over £60.00. It was not a good experience. There was no fan to aid ventilation in the room, bearing in mind that we have been in an extended heatwave, and the room was located in what would originally have been the attic and was extremely hot with only one window. A special mention goes to Rachel at the bar, who was friendly, professional, and made our evenings enjoyable with her warm conversation. "We had a standard room which was suitably spacious for a comfortable stay. The check in process was simple and straight forward. Guest who book on Expedia (or other we sites) are required to pay £15 for spa access, whereas direct book guest pay £10 for the same service. The spa is nice, but it’s a bit small. It wasn’t very busy so I had no issues whatsoever. But if it’s busier be aware: the sauna and steam room fits 2-3 people only, the whirlpool is suitable for 4 people. The pool is very...

"I booked a normal standard room, but I was given an accessible room instead. Unfortunately, the room was extremely dirty, especially the bathroom. There was a significant amount of mould, the toilet looked like it had not been properly cleaned, and there were stains everywhere. I went to the staff to complain about the condition of the room, but I was told that I would have to pay extra to change rooms. I do not think this is reasonable, as the accessible room was not the room I originally...
