"My stay at The Mercantile was extraordinary! The staff were warm, welcoming and attentive to my requests! For example, I had some flowers set up in my room and they set up a quick solution to accommodate with a vase. My room was clean and perfect for a 3 night stay. Additionally, the location and convenience cannot be understated. I will be staying here again and every time when visiting Dublin. I did have a corner room where the WiFi was not as strong and needed to take a work video...

All staff were professional, very helpful (sought ways to assist rather than waiting to be asked), and knowledgeable about their duties. rooms in this property are designed to be controlled by a tabet (lights (there are also switches for most lights), tv, temerature, etc. Rooms have a space saving layout - a small rectangle. "The bathroom smelled bad when we checked in and there was no vent or exhaust fan so we told the front desk staff and manager but they were nonchalant about it and didn’t say they’d fix it. Also the airconditioning was intermittent so the room got very stuffy and hot. The bar and restaurant staff were very nice, their service was good, and the food was good."
