"The property was quirky due to the age of the building but also homely, very clean and had everything you wanted, bathroom was lovely and bed comfy. The rooms have been made out of an old bakery and they have done a superb job. There is also a large beer garden. We ate in the restaurant where they have a log fire and good choice of menu. The couple that run it are lovely and friendly even lent my husband a tie, for the wedding we were going too. Couldn't ask for more. "

"Nice dining area for breakfast and evening meals. Good variety of options for breakfast and a varied evening meal menu. Beds are nice and comfortable. Good tea and coffee facilities in room. If I had have known it was so pet friendly I may have brought my pet. Convenience store with ATM on other side of street for any other items. All of the staff we encountered were pleasant, courteous and helpful. I would stay again when I return to the area as I likely will."

"Crossways is a gem of a hotel with wonderful views of Glastonbury Tor and the surrounding countryside. The beds are comfortable and Internet access is very good. Everywhere is very clean and the staff are generally very good. There was just one morning when the staff lost track of who still needed to order their breakfasts. Talking of tracks the road to the hotel from Pilton is single track but it is worth the care needed to get there."

"Lovely location, rooms and buildings. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and the gardens and park are gorgeous. Welcome and service excellent. We stayed after a visit to Longleat and it was the perfect relaxing stop after a busy day. Only thing that could have made it better would have been if food and drinks were available there in the evening, the cafe closes at 5. We drove to Frome and had an excellent meal in Little Walcot.
