"We had a nice visit here at the Melia in Cozumel. I would give it a 9 out of 10 rating. As others have mentioned, I would recommend upgrading to the Level experience. Better food options and other amenities, plus a bigger room. Place was very clean, room was nice and chilly, and everyone was exceptionally friendly. Overall the food was quite good, but I was disappointed by one thing. Both of the hotels offer entrees where you can upgrade and get something a little more expensive or exotic....

"The hotel was lovely, the staff very friendly and efficient. The food in the restaurant was great, we ate there most evenings, and the servers were very attentive. The breakfast buffet was wonderful! But please be warned, the older side of the hotel doesn't have an elevator. If you are in your "golden years", the stairs to the 3rd floor can be quite a feat! We would definitely stay there again while in Cozumel, just on the newer side. "
