"At the age of 84 no help with luggage"

"Much better than last time I stayed, Not the best of hotels, but the that is reflected in the price you pay. Mainenance is also quite poor with several light fittings in my room not working."

"We thought the breakfast buffet choices were limited, however the cooked breakfast was hot and plentiful. The staff were very efficient. Dinner was most enjoyable in a lovely dining room and the bar service was very good. Upon arrival we were given a room upgrade with a four poster bed, this was a lovely surprise. Parking was onsite without additional charge. If you are planning on walking the Malvern Hills this Hotel is in the perfect location."

"A beautiful shiny new hotel with well thought through design and such aesthetic decor. The staff were helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. The roof top bar was a definite plus, with fab views, it just made the weekend for me and my friend who had a long overdue catch up. So close to the station, an easy weekend away."

"Eckington Manor is a lovely hotel with very nice rooms, set in beautiful grounds, a short distance from Cheltenham. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. As the hotel is a little remote, we decided to eat in the hotel. The food was excellent as was the breakfast. Would definitely recommend and will no doubt return if we are in the Cotswolds."

"We had a wonderful one-night stay. We had a double room with ensuite, which perfectly suited our family of three. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and were great with our young daughter. There is plenty of parking and the pub itself is gorgeous and full of character. The breakfast was incredible - had the Full English, which was so tasty, and there were lots of continental and lighter options too. It’s an absolute gem of a place, and one we’ll definitely return to."

"The hotel is a bit dated in the rooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was always good and plentiful. Cleaning was poor, never vacuumed in five days, tables were left dirty, sheets never changed. Also there was mold on the window sills and my allergies acted up. A bit pricey for this level of room."

"No reception which was a bit strange although understand that is the future. The emergency porter available to answer any questions and easy to come and go. Comfortable beds!"

"The hotel is nice and comfortable, I think what lets it down are the staff. I was totally ignored in the bar/restaurant area. I ended up eating at another hotel around the corner. No staff or coffee at breakfast, I ended up speaking to one of the cleaners to get coffee made. New house manager needed I think!"

"I originally booked my stay at the Rising Sun Inn because I was in the area to see Van Morrison. What I didn't expect was how much I'd enjoy everything else the hotel has to offer. The inn was comfortable, welcoming, and a great base for exploring the beautiful countryside. One of the highlights of my trip turned out to be the wonderful hiking opportunities right around the hotel. "Really welcoming staff. There was a few for the car park which did not seem fair. It’s an overnight stop with a comfortable bed. Some issues with water pressure, taps going on and off."

"Great stay in a lovely hotel. The owner was charming, friendly and fun and gave an excellent display of first class customer service. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We left too early for breakfast so they made up packed breakfasts for us too. Some of the alcoholic drinks in the mini bar are free too! Bed was comfortable and the facilities were clean, tidy, modern and well kept. Parking right outside too."
