"We had a very warm welcome from the friendly staff and were shown to the room which was clean and bright. The food that evening was excellent, and as it was a warm evening we spent a pleasant time sitting outside with our drinks afterwards. "It was easy to self check in and the room had everything needed for a great stay including the breakfast box. We took the dog with us and the room was ideal with plenty of room for us. We didn't see any staff as all the information was sent via phone. The staff member I spoke to on the phone to add the dog was very helpful and efficient. Lovely place to stay."

"We stayed for one night. The hotel grounds were beautiful and well maintained, and our room was spacious, although the décor felt tired and in need of updating. The biggest issue was room service. The welcome book said orders had to be placed at reception, so I queued there, only to be sent to the bar.
