"What a lovely village pub. The staff were really friendly and breakfast was excellent. The room was a little tired and a little small, but good value for money. Would certainly visit again. "

"Great room with a view of the abbey opposite. Weather was shocking so ate in the pub (well, more of a restaurant) great food. Service was excellent. Had a minor issue which was resolved in a thoughtful way. Menu excellent for GF and Vegans (clearly marked). One of the best rooms, and with dinner £200 or thereabouts. Parking out back. Genuinely high recommendation."

"The room was clean, comfortable and warm - we stayed in November. The staff were considerate and helpful, they made us feel very welcome. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent. The bar and restaurant were tastefully decorated and the lighting and roaring woodburners made for a cosy experience. Will gladly sstay again when passing through the area. "
