"We spent about 60 mins before we were offered a suitable room. It’s a lovely place but old. The rooms in mansion house have old furniture and in the first room a bath that could easily be 40 years old. It was not clean and so the very friendly staff showed us 4 other rooms all the same and we picked the best of them but still very dissatisfied because it had very poor WiFi. "Wonderful hostess who kept me informed throughout and went the extra mile to make my stay great. House is wonderful and very peaceful. Bedroom was large with very comfy bed and the bathroom was awesome. Underfoot heating so showering was excellent. Once the light went out you couldn’t see you hand in front of your face. Perfect nights sleep on both nights and full use of kitchen when required. A real gem. "
