"Unfortunatly the Pecking Mill Inn was in need of a good clean. Very dated and forgotton. There were beer pumps but not in use. Cans were poured into our glasses and price was not cheaper. Food was on offer but we chose not to beat. Room was unclean. Did not use shower. Geoff was a lovely host and welcomed us."

"This hotel needs modernisation. I would not have been happy to be here on a very hot day. It is not very accessible. As I have arthritis I found accessing the first floor quite difficult. Breakfast was great the staff were great"

"My partner and me stayed during the first horrible heatwave in June, to get some respite in the AC that was featured in the amenities of the property. Not only was there AC in the room, but also in the pub/restaurant area! It was absolutely delightful - we struggled leaving! The staff were so friendly and attentive; nothing was too much trouble. We were given a flask of fresh milk to have with tea/coffee in the room, and some freshly baked cookies. I couldn’t get the shower to cool down, this...

"A spacious room with a small en-suite. Clean and tidy. Very large bed!! Quite quiet considering the proximity to the main road. Would stay there again."
