The listing mentions that the venue will be playing loud music, but I would’ve expected a bit more effort in soundproofing the rooms. "Lovely inn in a lovely village conveniently located to major towns and linked with a good railway line. Friendly folk run the hotel and a reasonably good selection of beers. Stayed here before and if in the area would stay here again. Only thing to be aware of is that some nights there are special events (quiz night) which may affect the availability of food or change restaurant times."

"Absolute treasure. Went for a retreat to get some work done. It could not have been more perfect. Staff super respectful and approachable. Room was spacious, clean and sound proof. Breakfast was excellent....loved the banana and peanut smoothie. what a combo. And after a hard day's work, it was relaxing in the sauna/steam room& jaccuzzi. Planning on bringing a team of people for group bonding sessions.....with the vast green lands and lots of conference rooms and break out open...
