"Loved this hotel for its location. The Gloucester tube station is right across the street which makes it very convenient and so many walkable options within 20 mins or so. Coffee shops and small comfort shops on the street. Cute breakfast/tea restaurant next door that you don’t want to miss. Room was very comfortable but carpets could use a shampoo. Staff were wonderfully friendly. Would stay again!"

Room is very comfortable but you might ask to avoid the ground-floor handicapped accessible room if you have paid for a Deluxe room because the bathroom is less than ideal (as it must be in an accessible room). Even though this was a disappointment, the staff were super-pleasant .

"I think the good ratings were a scam. The first things was we were there an hour and a half early and the room was ready, but they charged us 20 GBP to get into it early. The view wasn't great of the train yard. The plumbing made loud noises whenever someone on another level flushed.
