"Paintwork dirty, carpet poorly hoovered, cracked and poorly fitting windows allowing the wind in. cracked broken mirror, I didn't have breakfast but had to walk through the breakfast room to get to reception, it look dried out under the lamps. Bar was poorly stocked. Bathroom had one tap on the wash basin that was that loose when you tried turn it off it went through over 180, the other wasn't the same as the hot. WC not fixed to floor. A school report would say must try harder and put in greater effort."

"Old and tired looking hotel, extremely hot inside room (was a very hot day), room ventilation / air-con wouldn't reduce room temperature below 26oC during night. Hard lumpy bed. Very convenient location to explore Southampton but there are definately better hotels in the area to stay"

"Only a 25 minute walk from Southampton central and a 20 minute walk to the stadium, this place is in a great location. Room was spacious and clean. Bit of an odd smell in the room l must say but other than that, great room. My original room wasn't ready so I was moved to a room that was ready and as a result, given a complimentary breakfast which was a nice touch!! Overall, really liked it here and would definitely stay again"
