"All fine and dandy. Room and decor a little dated but super clean and everything we needed. All staff were really friendly but the star is the incomparable Linda. I really hope you are paying her enough because she is a gem! Nothing was too much trouble even won over my usually reserved, sons. So helpful , so attentive to all guests. "Nice location and the drinks in the room fridge is a really nice touch. Good value for money. However, even though the rooms are clearly available, you'll be made to wait until 1500h to check in. No compromise at all. If you are up before 0800h then ideal as very quiet at night. At 0800h the fire doors are wedged open and the doors start slamming as the cleaners start their day. Not ideal if you are on holiday and want an extended rest. But overall very good. "

"Hotel location is excellent. 5 minute walk from the Train Station (ignore Google Maps!!). Staff were first class and very welcoming. Hotel is excellent throughout. Breakfast was top class, so much choice and excellent quality. My only gripe was the prices of the drinks at the bar (which is common in hotels). £24 for 2 cocktails and £8 a pint. Would definitely come back again."

"We stayed for 1 night for a concert at the Utilita Arena which is in walking distance of the hotel. The hotel staff in reception and at breakfast were all friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed but the bathroom was looking a bit tired. The price was excellent for a family of 4 though especially as a good breakfast buffet was included. We parked at Newhall Street NCP for a secure car park which was about an 8 minute walk from the hotel - maybe not ideal for...
