"This is my second or third stay at this hotel, and unfortunately I’ve experienced repeated issues with the rooms, particularly the showers. On previous stays, I had to change rooms multiple times due to either no hot water or electricity outages. On this visit, the shower handle and overhead shower had very little water pressure, making them unusable. I ended up having to shower using the tap. "The National Conference centre is only 10-15 min by car so ideal location. I attended a three day event there and returned to Garner Hotel for the night. There was availability to book breakfast if I wanted. "

"Pet friendly but not disabled friendly. Staff excellent management useeless. Had a fall lift broken,put on top floor inspte of using disabled buggy. Requested for manager to call ne re complaint no call,i made 4 call toll charged kept waiting average 15 minutes for them to find manager only to have to hang up due to cost. Would advise anyone not to go here,staff great manager useless. Half of evening menu unavailable both nights"

"I unfortunately booked for the wrong month. Having emailed the hotel to ask to change the booking they referred straight to their cancellation policy with absolutely no flexibility. Considering it’s a huge hotel and it was an honest mistake I am very disappointed with their response. I wouldn’t rebook based on this. "

"Its just off the City Centre near A38. 20 Minutes walk from New Street Station. Does food until 8 but no breakfast. Its a quiet pub with rooms. No lift."

"Safe very convenient location to stations, centre and 02 Academy. Mini Tesco and Sainsbury also in walking distance. Had a standard room which was very sufficient, nice biscuits, coffee bags instead of instant and a small fridge. Bathroom had an emergency sanitary kit which saved my life. Rooms well sound proofed. Only thing was some of the furniture was a bit chipped and tired, the desk chair I reported to reception as it was very tatty and torn, hence knocked off one star. "
