"This was a lovely heritage property located about a 15 minute walk to the centre of York. Staff were very welcoming and the room was spotless and comfortable. (If stairs are an issue for you, there can be many depending on your room floor - just two into the house) Breakfast was delicious and we also enjoyed the communal sitting room and the private parking. "Had two nights in a family room whilst visiting York, which can be easily accessed by car in minutes. The ground-floor room was clean, spacious and very well appointed, with a large TV and a small but perfectly formed bathroom boasting an array of hand-wash, shower gel, shampoo and separate conditioner! Breakfast was excellent, though options for evening dining were limited. That said, we enjoyed a couple of lovely meals at the nearby Cross Keys pub, where it was possible to reserve a table....

"We had an enjoyable overnight stay at the Minster Hotel. We'd been given a room upgrade and it was lovely and clean and spacious. Everything you needed with tea and coffee and biscuits supplied. Bathroom was spotless. The bed was so comfortable and had one of the best sleeps ever. Staff very welcoming , polite friendly and extremely helpful. On departure,staff let us leave our luggage for a few hours to enable us to enjoy some time in the beautiful city centre and the Xmas markets. Will...
